God's Rebuke

The following scenario is a story I created to depict the situation of my current spiritual life, according to what God has recently revealed to me ..

The setting... is in a home....

Abba as usual, in his study room, working.. and me as usual, in the living room about 20 steps away from where Abba is, watching Netflix. "Destined With You" is the show that I am currently obsessed with. I would re-watch the episodes because I love the interactions between the co-stars and I love the story line too...

While I was watching episodes 11, Abba called me from His study room..

"Sella... Sella... come here...."

I answered with my eyes still glued to the TV, "Yes Abba! I am listening".. The main actor was sending his girlfriend home, and couldn't bear to leave her by herself, and was finding many excuses to stay with her.. awww.. those scenes brought a big smile to my face. ... :D

"Hmmm... why is Abba not saying anything after I answered Him?" . I was expecting Him to come out from His study room and come to the living room where I was to tell me what He wanted to tell me.

"Sella... Sella... come here...." He called me the second time. And I answered, "Yes? What is it You want to tell me?" And the next scene was the girlfriend entered her home, only to find another guy that she used to have a crush on, waiting for her at her house.. Getting exciting!! .. 

Fast forward to next few days... I was still waiting for Abba to tell me what He wants.. "Why couldn't He just tell me?" .. "I think He is giving me the silence treatment!"

At last, Abba couldn't take it anymore, He was waiting for too long.. so He got up from His seat, He was in the middle of doing something, but He walked to the living room and rebuked me..

"When I call you, I expect you to switch off the TV and come into my room. Don't wait for me to come to you. You are my child! I am your Father! From now on, I don't want you to come to my room only when I have something to tell you, or when your show happen to finish! I want you to come into my room everyday and wait upon my instructions. I might not have any instruction for you on some days, but nevertheless, I want you to come and check with me every single day".

"Do you understand?" 

"Yes, Abba.."

I don't want to be excited for Heaven

  I don't want to look forward to Jesus's Second Coming so that I can finally enter the New Heaven and Earth. I think if I have that mindset, I have missed the point of becoming a Christian.  Today as I was praying, I told God that I want to be excited for Heaven because I can finally be with God and be with Jesus! Not because I can stay in Heaven. I want to be excited because I can be in God's presence for eternity. The Signs of the End Time as in the Days of Noah

 'But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. A Leader's Reflection

 We are all equal Some might do "bigger" things, some "smaller" things, but bottom line is that no one is greater or smaller in God's eyes. We are all equal.  This is my first reflection write-up. I want to do this to journal what I learnt from the Lord and my fellow brothers and sisters-in Christ. Recently, there is an incident that happened in my cell group. So many things I want to say, but today I want to write my personal reflection based on the incident. So, when the incident happened, I took it upon myself that I had to solve this issue.
