A committed Cell Leader

I don't have a full time job. My days are occupied with children stuff, family and church. I spend a lot of time thinking about my cell group members. I do a lot of things to encourage them to draw closer to God, in any way I can. Before Fridays Cell Group meetings, I think about how to facilitate the discussion, I think about what message I want to impart on my members. Recently, I will do up a nice picture of a Bible verse and I include practical ways on how we can apply that verse in our daily lives. I constantly thinking about how can I bring the cell group to go towards the calling God has for them. And I do many more...

Am I more committed compared to other Cell group leaders who only conduct cell group meetings, and check in on the members by text once in a while, because they have a full time job, and therefore can't have the time to do the things that I do?

Are all Cell group leaders expected to carry out the same amount of work?

I have been thinking about the answers to these questions, because I believe that the answer is "no". But I couldn't find an analogy to explain my belief. I believe that I am not committed more than the CGLs who do basic duties. And today I found the analogy to explain that.

Imagine a woman who suddenly become pregnant, give birth to a child, and She decided to become a stay at home to care for the child. Is she more motherly or more committed than the mothers who can't be at home with the kids, who can't do activities with the kids, because they have a full time job? The answer is no!!

I do more, not because I am more committed! I do more because I simply have the time.. I believe that the other CGLs love their members as much as, or perhaps more than I do! We all want the best for our members, as how a mother wants the best for their child. The method we adopt can be different. The amount of time we spend on our member, depends on other commitments we have. But one thing is the same, we love our brothers and sisters in Christ and we love the Church.
