What really matters...
17But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches.
18Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised.
19Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.
20Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.
21Were you called while a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it.
22For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave.
23You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.
24Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called.
~ 1 Corinthians 7:17-24
I am sure you have met with judgmental Christians and/or Church that put church rules above God's commands. I myself experienced a church where if you do not do certain ritual things, you are considered as not faithful or not a good Christian.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5

Paul went around setting up churches, setting guidelines, empowering people to be the church leaders. But soon after. church leaders lost their focus. They cared more about the rituals than teaching their congregations on keeping God's commandments.
I think Churches mistaken about what God's commandments are. I think to certain Christians, God's commandments are to go Sunday service, participate in Eucharist, go for regular confession, reciting certain words and prayers in a way that the church teaches. It is all about following Church rules. But Church does not equal to God. Church leaders are not equal to God. If any church leader equate themselves with the apostles, therefore giving them rights to rule over the congregation, that Church leader has lost focus. Even Paul did not think himself worthy to be called an apostle of Jesus Christ.
Back to the topic. Paul said that whatever state we are in, when we are called by God, we should come as we are. We do not have to be "circumcised" in order to enter the church. Church is open to everybody! Church is for everybody! God is calling everybody! Church should not be "unfriendly" to outsiders. I am tempted to give more examples, but thinking about them makes me a little fired up for the wrong reason. At this point, I want to urge any of you who wants to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, to keep His commandments.. What are His commandments?
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:37-40
What does this mean? It means Jesus Christ is your only focus, not any other spiritual or worldly beliefs. That is the first step. When you keep this commandments, there is no way you will become the judgmental or fake or stagnant Christians. You will not be perfect, but you will continue to grow into the likeness of Christ!
