Morning Praise (Personal)

 My God shows His love to me, in a not subtle ways. Even before I woke up from my sleep, He already planned to answer my prayer I uttered the night before. Through someone unexpected, He pours His love.  His love flows to someone who doesn't even know Him yet. And it moves him to spare a thought for us and bought a gift for my son. Oh how great and loving my God is. To show love to us eventhough we are such a treacherous beings. What did I do for Him that He always do great things for me? His deeds assured me that He is always watching, not from a far, not from my side, but from within me, and I within Him. Bless the Lord, for He is real and ever loving. ❤️ Extra note: I am so grateful to Mr Balan, my son's school bus driver. I heard many unpleasant stories about how rude, irresponsible towards the students or parents. But never once I experience that with Mr Balan, for 6 or 7 years long. He is always patient and understanding. And this morning he bought a gift for son. Which ...

Fresh Thoughts

  very scrambled. I have not put it into readable, understandable write-up. Please read this with a pinch of salt. I have not seek God about this, whether this is biblical. This is more of my imagination. Please do not use this as a theology reasoning.  I will just type what I received in my heart. Messages and words are all jumbled. Here goes.. God's desire is to dwell physically with us, like we were in the Garden of Eden. But what happened in the garden, the whole humankind has been tainted with sin.  At first, I thought that God is reversing humankind to our original state so that we can stand in God's presence once again. But I realised that that might not be the case.  Imagine this, God wants to dwell with us. but humans are already tainted. God won't reverse us to the original state, because that would mean restarting this whole universe. Probably He already did (I imagine some Marvel movies where Thanos turned back time, to have a new history written). Human ...

I don't want to be excited for Heaven

  I don't want to look forward to Jesus's Second Coming so that I can finally enter the New Heaven and Earth. I think if I have that mindset, I have missed the point of becoming a Christian.  Today as I was praying, I told God that I want to be excited for Heaven because I can finally be with God and be with Jesus! Not because I can stay in Heaven. I want to be excited because I can be in God's presence for eternity. But.. then I think.. what does it mean and what does it look like, living with God literally and physically? And how is it different from now? Yes God is not physically with us, but God is with us, God will help us when we need Him, God answer our prayers, God do miraculous things on earth, God speaks to us. Other than being physically with Him, what are we looking forward to, in Heaven? I don't have the answer to that. That is why I cannot get myself excited to go to Heaven to be with God. Because I am with Him now. But I want to be excited for Heaven .. S...

  God's blessings is unlimited.             God's gifts are unlimited  --> So, don't ask God to take something from you, to give it to others. It may sound noble but you are actually undermining God's limitless blessings.

Why don't I hear from God?

 God spoke to us for sacred purposes. It is not for amusement. He spoke either to increase our faith (to do what He wants us to do) or to release words to the people that He wants us to speak to.  If you have a great news that you need to spread to other people, will you approach someone whom you know that you can trust to spread it to others? or to someone you know that tends to be quiet and keep things to themselves?  Surely you will tell it to someone who will spread it to others.  Therefore, if God's purpose for a message to be delivered to humankind, He will tell it to someone who will carry that message to the relevant crowd or people.

Dated: 18 December 2017 Psalm 36:1 "I have a message from God in my heart..." Comment: Even King David received message from God in his heart (same like me) "...concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes." Comment: Humans keep sinning is basically because they do not know who God is, so they do not fear God. People who say that they know God, won't keep sinning because they would have fear God.  I wonder why is there a contrast/ jump from verse 1-4 and verse 5-9. Why did David talked about wickedness, then suddenly praising God. What is the key message in Psalm 36? I somehow glad to know that the Bible scholars are having difficulty in interpreting Psalm 36. Somehow I feel drawn towards this Psalm. I feel an urge to meditate on this one.
