"Born Again" Series - Part 2

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 In series 1, we have learned that it is essential to be "born again". George Whitefield in one of his final sermons said, "I am now fifty-five years of age and I tell you that I am more than ever convinced that the truth of the new birth is a revelation from God Himself, and that without it you can never be saved by Jesus Christ.” Now, we as humans must be taught practical doable steps in order to learn or accomplish something. To be born again, is not like getting a degree in university. There is no "fixed" steps to reach spiritual rebirth. But! know that EVERYONE CAN BE "REBORN". When I say "everyone", it means ALL. You do not have to be Christians to be reborn. I think calling ourselves a Christians have become meaningless, because I have seen many "Christians" who are not living as Chris...

"Born Again" Series - Part 1

I am going to do a few series on the topics on "Spiritual Rebirth". I think being born again are taken too lightly by surprisingly too many Christians. From my own experience, many Christians actually misunderstood about the topic. Many people including myself (in the past) are not exactly sure what does it mean to be "born again", what initiated it, how does it feel, and how do we know. I used to think that by saying the "Sinners' Prayer" and accepting Jesus into our lives as our Personal Saviour means that we have been "born again". Boy was I wrong! And I praise God and never stop thanking God that He taught me about "Spiritual Rebirth" before it is too late for me (aka. before I die). Take note of this : NOTHING, NO ONE, NO DEEDS, CAN INITIATE OR SPEED UP THE SPIRITUAL REBIRTH. It is up to us individually to be willing, THEN God will let you be reborn according to His own perfect timing. If you are not sure whether you have...

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - EXODUS 20 : 1-17 And God spoke all these words: 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 3 “You shall have no other gods before me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. 7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. 8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or...
